White lion pub Isle Of Wight is a Very friendly pub
Good warm welcome, excellent food, very pleasant patient staff, enjoyed our visit , thank you , if you have time walk up to the church behind the pub worth a visit .
We arrived soaked through and freezing cold to friendly welcome and a log burning fire. We sat on a table with a fantastic view over the beach and sea. The hot chocolates were great as were the bowls of chips! There looked like there was a good selection on the menu.
Excellent coffee and cosy
The coffee here is excellent plus you can buy the beans to take home. Very friendly service and delicious cakes too
One of our favourite places to eat - always awesome. Pays to book though as it gets very busy . Fabulous meat selection and the unlimited fries are amazing
Food great, staff great.. I have food intolerances and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The food is different, a far cry from standard cafe/bistro fare. Give it a look, well worthwhile.
Have walked past this many times and not gone in. I should have as it's got great food and good interiors plus garden, then easy to walk down to the beach.
Best Fish and Chips in West Wight
By far the best fish and chips in the West Wight, ring up and order in advance and then pick up rather than waiting as it’s a small area for the take away. Lovely crispy batter and chips and good selection available.
Popped in for sandwich and coffee. Plenty of choice - both sweet and savoury. Pleasant setting right at the waters edge.
I have not bought anything from Namnet other than take away sandwiches but they have to be the best in Yarmouth. The bread is always supremely fresh and the ingredients faultless. Highly recommended.
Lovely little pub, great food, very welcoming.
Lovely little pub, great food and very welcoming. Came here for lunch before getting the ferry later in the day. Staff very friendly, cosy and food came quickly. If you’re in Yarmouth it’s a lovely place to go.
Two visits during our week's stay on the Island.
We had freshly made sandwiches and coffee on both visits. This is a very nice quiet café with quick service and pleasant staff. It is tucked away in one of the side alleys, but well worth seeking out.
Went in for drink with my daughter, staff pleasant enough and chatty, we sat by log fire just relaxing after busy day, it was pleasant with log fire and old beams running through the building
I had a excellent fish and chips with tea hot and tasty with quick service and a smile! It is located in a historic building in Yarmouth.
Lovely place which we went to after seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor; not disappointed! Great coffee and scones and the apple and cream pancakes were yummy too. Took our doggy who happy watched the locals come and go. Highly recommended for a visit; we'll try and get another visit in before we head home.
