We stayed for five days on an all inclusive holiday in February 2019. The chalet bedroom was excellent, with welcome pack and mini-fridge and was kept immaculately clean and stocked with tea making materials, biscuits, water and milk throughout our stay.
The facilities included bowls, shooting, archery and boules with a games room for snooker, darts, table tennis and a film room, all of which were well kept.
The evening entertainment was excellent and varied and the food was very good indeed.
The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us.
This is a holiday we would happily recommend and will definitely repeat.
We had a long weekend and had 2 signature premier chalets, lovely clean rooms with loads of nibbles and drinks. Quiet chalets. Named table in the restaurant meant we knew exactly where we were headed twice a day, same wait throughout who was there the second we sat down (Artur) amazing food, different menus every night. Named table for evening entertainment meaning we knew where we were sat every night and there was no fights over Tables! Entertailment was brilliant, activities were fun and well organised. Christmas decorations were amazing. All staff were happy and attentive and helpful. We will be going back at least four times a year now. I have a daughter but it's lovely going somewhere with no kids, other guests respect your peace and quiet!
Our IOW home from home. Always have Elliot or Haysley rooms, have visited twice a year since they were last refurbished nine years ago. (Time they were refreshed, hint hint!!). Staff top notch, Melissa cared for our Room, food excellent value for money, best Warner’s for food and we have visited several others including their Hotels. Entertainment has improved greatly again since an unusually poor showing in June - Please keep it up. We always shoot Rifle, both of us old but still very competitive! The gardens were as usual brilliant, six stars to your garden staff, June being the best month when we were also there three months earlier.
Have to mention the Great Power Cut! Tree struck by lightning fell on large pole, wires down, power off all day. We gather the food manager cooked meat in his own oven for the evening Dinner, staff worked extra hours making sandwiches and salads and fed around 300 people three courses by candle light and torchlight. Sounded fun, but we confess to popping out to Yarmouth for our dinner! Well done to all the staff and the lights came on again just in time for the evening entertainment. The Blitz Spirit prevailed but still apparently a few old grouches complained! 🙄🙄🙄
